Artwork Specs
We would like to help you print a perfect document, every time. If you are providing us with the files for printing, please follow these helpful guidelines that will help us ensure your satisfaction with all of your printing projects.
PDF FILES You may send us a Press-Ready PDF file with crop marks and 1/8” bleeds (if any).
Please verify the following before sending:
- Please use the business card template as a guide for document size, bleed area and safety line area.
- Document has crop marks.
- Color Images are at least 300 dpi .
- Black text, lines, etc. should be set to “Rich Black”: C=75 / M=65 / Y=65 / K=100
- If the job has bleeds, bleeds must extend 1/8” past the edge of the document
- Document size is correct (for example if you are ordering a 4″ x 6″ postcard your document size is set to 4.25″ x 6.25″ NOT 4″ x 6″)
- All images are CYMK (Not RGB, Index or spot colors)
ORIGINAL FILES
Occasionally, there are small problems in files which we can fix, provided that we have the original document and all of the graphics and fonts. If we encounter problems, we will contact you regarding the necessary steps to make any corrections.
FONTS
Although we do have many fonts in our system, we might not have yours. So please make sure you include both the printer and screen version of any fonts in your document. Please note that TrueType fonts often cause difficulty in printing. If we find that your fonts are incompatible with the printing process, we will first try to convert them to Mac Type 1 fonts. If this does not work, we may need to have you resend them.
SENDING FILES
You may email your printing files directly to us at service@kaylinpromotions.com. If your files are larger than 5mb, please click here to submit your design.
Please note the red and blue lines are for guidance only. Do not create on your design as it will print on your final piece.
